Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to download the app or create an account?
Not when joining through a browser. They open the event's QR code or link, enter their name and allow camera access. The person creating and managing the event needs an account.
Does it work on Android?
Guests can join through a browser on compatible Android phones, with internet access and the required permissions. The native app is available for iPhone. Camera features may vary by device and browser.
What if the venue has a poor internet connection?
You need a connection to enter the event for the first time. In the VowLens app, pending photos and videos stay on the phone. With the app open, uploads resume when the connection returns. If you close the app, reopen the same event with internet access to continue uploading. Do not uninstall the app or clear its data while files are still pending.
In a browser, wait for upload confirmation before closing the page. Wi-Fi available to guests helps everyone take part.
Can guests who aren't comfortable with technology take part?
There are just a few steps: open the QR code, enter a name and use the camera. Leave instructions beside the QR code and have someone available to help with the first visit. Try it with your family before the celebration.
Does everyone see the photos right away?
You choose when to reveal the photos. Once revealed, they're available in the event gallery. The live slideshow shows revealed photos, not those still waiting to be revealed.
Who can access the event?
Share the QR code and link only with the people you want to invite. Anyone who receives them can pass them on. Read the privacy policy and avoid sharing sensitive information in photos and messages.
How long are the photos available?
On the Free plan, storage lasts for 30 days after the event ends. Paid plans have no expiration date. If this policy changes, we'll give you advance notice and ensure you can download all your memories before storage ends. Existing purchases and complimentary plans will be honored.
Do I pay per event or per account?
The plan belongs to your account. Each plan allows a set number of events, shown before purchase. You pay once, with no monthly fees. The event allowance and storage period are separate details, both shown in the offer.
How can I pay?
On the website, by card or PIX. On iPhone, purchases go through the App Store using the payment methods it offers.
Does VowLens replace the photographer?
No. Your photographer handles the professional coverage, lighting and wedding story. VowLens brings together spontaneous moments from your guests to complement those memories.
Do I need equipment for the live slideshow?
You'll need a TV or projector and a computer connected to the screen and the internet. VowLens provides the slideshow link with Premium and VIP plans. Arrange the equipment with your venue.
Is it only for weddings?
You can also create events for birthdays, quinceañeras, baby showers, graduations and corporate gatherings. The idea is the same: bring together the memories of everyone taking part. Check which features and limits suit your celebration.
